Terms
Version: 2026-08-25 · Last updated: 25 August 2026By registering for or using Chatson, you confirm that you are authorised to create an account on behalf of the relevant organisation and agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and authorisation
- You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date account information and protect your login credentials.
- You may only connect Business Portfolios, WABAs, and phone numbers that you own or are formally authorised to manage.
- Connecting WhatsApp via Facebook / Meta Embedded Signup authorises the Platform to manage the connected WhatsApp Business assets under the selected permissions.
2. Messaging and content responsibility
You are responsible for content entered, stored, sent, or generated through the Platform, including customer notices, marketing messages, templates, attachments, consent records, and recipient data. You must obtain appropriate customer consent and comply with applicable privacy, electronic messaging, anti-spam, and consumer-protection laws.
3. WhatsApp and third-party rules
WhatsApp Cloud API is provided by Meta. You must follow WhatsApp Business Policy, Meta Platform Terms, and template, quality, messaging-window, and phone-number rules. Meta may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for quality, risk, payment, verification, or policy reasons. The Platform does not guarantee that Meta will approve any WABA, display name, template, or message.
4. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Platform to send fraudulent, harassing, threatening, malware, or illegal content, unsolicited bulk messages, or to attempt to circumvent Meta’s template, customer-care window, rate, or security limits.
5. Service and fees
The Platform may charge according to service plans. Meta / WhatsApp messaging, conversation, payment, template, or other third-party fees may be borne by you directly or as otherwise agreed. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages, network issues, API limits, or policy changes.
6. Suspension and termination
If you breach these Terms, endanger other users, the Platform, or third parties, or receive a Meta risk notice, we may suspend the related account or WhatsApp connection. You may request disconnection; retention and deletion of historical data after disconnection follow the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Limitation of liability
The Platform is a technical workspace service and does not represent Meta, nor does it guarantee that customers will read, reply, convert, that messages will be delivered, that templates will be approved, or that accounts will remain available long-term. Liability for third-party platforms and events beyond reasonable control is handled under applicable law and any written agreement between the parties.
8. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms due to service, legal, or third-party platform rules. Updates will show a new version; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updates to the extent permitted by law.
